Psalm 46: 1-11

082117.jpgIn the busyness of our lives, we can forget whom we serve. By constantly listening to news that talks about the state of our government, the state of our nation, the state of our world, we can be overcome with worry and fear.

Psalm 46:1-11 reminds us of the power and excellence of our God. In verse 10, He says, “Be still and know (recognize, understand) that I am God.” Have you forgotten what the Word says about God? Have you pushed from your mind all He’s done for you? Has there ever been a time when He left you or forgot that you were His?

Get back to Him through prayer and reading. Let there be some quiet time for you and Him. Then will you remember that He is a “a very present and well-proved help in trouble” (Psm 46:1).

Is there a reason you still fear? #GodMyRefugeMyStrength #MeditateOnHimMonday
